A traditional country pub 
Martyn and Caroline welcome you all to The Rampant Cat 
 
Since taking over at the end of May it has been wonderful to bring this quintessential village pub back into the local community. The Rampant Cat offers a friendly atmosphere and period features and a large conservatory overlooking the picturesque garden. 
 
We offer home cooked traditional food and locally source our ingredients wherever possible. The food can be enjoyed either in front of the roaring open fire or in the newly re-furbished conservatory. 
 
We can cater for various functions: Christmas parties, Birthdays, Christenings, Shoot lunches and Dinner parties. There is also a varied buffet on request. We also look forward to more 'hog roasts' courtesy of Nick from Griffins. 
 
Sunday's a ‘roast day’ offering a choice of roast meat as well as a vegetarian option developed with the ‘country pub atmosphere’ in mind. And if you have a starter with your roast you can enjoy your dessert for free! 
We have also introduced a new Take Away Menu featuring fish & chips, burgers, pizza and Indian meals. Keep visiting the website for latest news and specials! 
 
Music nights are a regular occurrence at the Cat – with live bands, disco nights and open mic events. Is your photo in one of our Event galleries? 
 
The community spirit is of warmth and character – the Rampant Cat Football Club has been developed with the view to playing in the ‘Sunday League’ next year. In the meantime the volunteer players are having practice matches each Sunday morning and will play other pubs too. Fun and laughter is very apparent, there is a notice board displaying the footballers in full swing.
